Job Description

ABOUT US

QuantWare is building the world’s most powerful quantum processors to solve humanity's greatest challenges. We do this with our unique VIO™ technology, the only QPU architecture that breaks the hardware barriers that have held quantum computing back, unlocking the path to MegaQubit quantum processors.

With VIO, we are paving the way for the hyper-scale quantum computers that will change the world. And delivering on that vision demands people who don’t shy away from tackling the hardest challenges of our time. That’s where you come in!

We are looking for a hands-on Quantum Hardware Assembly Engineer to drive our production and supply chain operations. In this role, you will be at the heart of our hardware cycle, ensuring the precision assembly of quantum hardware. You are the gatekeeper of quality and ensure that every device shipped meets the requirements of our global customers. If you thrive on problem-solving and want to contribute to the future of quantum computing, this role is for you.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Quantum hardware assembly: Perform precision assembly including soldering, electrical checking, (automatic) wirebonding, and component integration for both production and R&D prototypes.
  • Quality assurance: Verify assembled components meet our technical specifications before delivery.
  • Prototype assembly: Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to support prototype development.
  • Assembly process ownership: Standardise, improve, troubleshoot, and automate our assembly workflows.
  • Component supply management: Manage supply of components, from supplier selection to procuring and inventory management.
  • Logistics coordination: Handle shipping preparations and documentation for domestic and international deliveries.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Experience in assembly, soldering, PCB work, or wirebonding processes.
  • Hands-on mentality, happy to execute tasks while optimising processes.
  • Organised & detail-oriented, able to manage Jira tasks and familiar with inventory management.
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken.

The match would be really perfect if, on top of this, you also have;

  • A technical/engineering degree (MBO or HBO preferred).
  • Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate across teams.
  • Open, transparent feedback style, willing to engage in critical discussions.
  • Interest in supply chain optimisation or scaling production.

DIVERSITY & INCLUSION AT QUANTWARE

We’re an ambitious company, not only for our goals but also to become an even more diverse and inclusive team. We know this helps us with better decisions, more innovation, and strengthens our culture. In particular, we’d love to see more women in the quantum industry!

So if you’re a female talent, excited about this opportunity but don’t meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply.

As part of our recruitment process, candidates may be required to undergo pre-employment screening.
