R&D Associate Scientist

JOB SUMMARY This R&D Associate Scientist role focuses on laboratory digitalization initiatives by leveraging expertise in LabVantage LIMS and its advanced capabilities, alongside an understanding of analytical chemistry laboratory workflows. The position involves collaborating with local and global scientific teams, including Measurement Sciences and Lab Operations, to support the implementation, optimization, and adoption of Laboratory Execution Systems (LES) and Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN). The role requires a combination of system knowledge, cross-functional collaboration, training, and testing support to enhance efficient laboratory operations. Candidates should possess analytical and IT exposure, along with a chemical understanding. Key Responsibilities * Collaborate with Lab Operations and cross-functional teams to develop and implement advanced functionality within the LabVantage LIMS platform. * Partner with local and global stakeholders to gather requirements and translate laboratory needs into effective LabVantage solutions. * Develop, maintain, and update training documentation and user support materials. * Create instructional training videos to support system onboarding and continuous learning. * Deliver training sessions for local and global users on LabVantage LIMS, ELN, and LES functionality. * Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support, including test script development and execution. Required Qualifications * Minimum of 2 years of experience working with LabVantage LIMS. * Working knowledge of LabVantage ELN and LES. * Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. * Understanding of analytical chemistry laboratory workflows and their integration with LIMS systems. Preferred Qualifications * Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar application lifecycle management tools. * Experience supporting or leading system training initiatives in a laboratory environment. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the Microsoft Power Apps suite. * Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI. * Experience with coding or scripting in support of laboratory systems.
