R&D Engineering Aid

Akkodis is seeking R&D Engineering Aid for a Direct Hire position with a client located in Andover MA (100% Onsite).

Salary range: $70-80K/Annum + Benefits; Pay rates may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Role

Work under the supervision of Engineers to perform a variety of complex and specialized technical tasks. Support Design Engineers in the design and development of new power supply products, as well as the sustaining and improvement of existing products. Conduct evaluations, qualifications, and comprehensive testing on power supply designs.

This role is responsible for generating detailed test reports and complete documentation packages for all new products. The position also requires effective interaction with internal teams to address and resolve product-related issues.

Education / Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant, position-related experience
• Strong knowledge of analog and/or power electronics circuits
• Proficiency with standard electronic laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, electronic loads, and power supplies
• Solid understanding of schematics, PCB layouts, circuit simulations, assembly drawings, and test specifications
• Knowledge of electronic component types and ratings, including voltage, power, and current relationships; basic op-amp theory; and transistor operation
• Excellent soldering and circuit prototyping skills
• Basic programming or scripting experience is a plus
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present technical information clearly
• Ability to understand, follow, and execute both verbal and written instructions
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Good computer skills, including the ability to access and utilize information from existing database systems
