Responsibilities:

We are looking for a mid level to senior level Data Scientist with an EE/RF background that has an excellent grasp of computer modelling, knowledge of wireless network systems, and the ability to work as part of a team. Our ideal candidate is responsible for understanding the engineering of what is happening with WiFi signals in a variety of environments (home, office, retail).

  • Understanding of signal processing techniques and applications and applications of FFT for data analytics
  • Familiarity with antenna design and associated antenna data signals interpretation
  • Support with signals processing and data extraction to help develop additional features as described in IEEE 802.11 bf
  • Ability to utilise RF test equipment such as oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.
  • Provide input and feedback on design and tuning parameters for hardware and software
  • Continuous testing on the performance of devices and recommend design improvements
  • Work in collaboration with the patent inventor.

Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering, computer science, or a similar field
  • At least 10 years experience as an Data Scientist with EE/RF engineer background
  • Knowledge of RF hardware systems, design and associated testing equipment
  • Knowledge of PCB design and associated best practices for RF environments
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning models and Artificial Intelligence implementation
  • Familiarity a plus with statistical analysis of RF data measurements
  • Understanding of wi-fi protocols and channel state information usage/integration
  • Ability to collaboratively work with others to solve technical problems
  • Familiarity with the 802.11 bf spec
