Location: Northeast (Office-Based)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 11 AM – 7 PM

Compensation: $75,000 + Company Bonuses

About the Role

We’re seeking a Real Estate Underwriter to play a key role in evaluating and underwriting primarily single-family homes. This position involves analyzing market data, determining property values, estimating rehab costs, and supporting our expanding rental portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Property Valuation: Evaluate single-family homes and small multifamily properties by assessing After Repair Value (ARV), as-is pricing, and rehab costs.
• Offer Formulation: Create competitive, profitable offers based on local market trends and property conditions.
• Asset & Portfolio Management: Oversee SDF Capital’s rental portfolio to ensure strong financial performance.
• Light Property Management: Support day-to-day operations for rentals, including tenant relations and maintenance coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience in real estate underwriting, acquisitions, or investment analysis (preferably single-family homes).
• Strong understanding of ARV, market comps, and rehab estimation.
• Ability to analyze rental property cash flow, cap rates, and ROI.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and solution-driven.
• A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
