About Our Client
Our client is a market leader with global presence. To cope with their business growth, they are hiring a Regional Data Analytics Lead who is outspoken and hands on.
Job Description
- Manage a team of 5 on data analysts. Lead by hands on examples, enable them to own data products.
- Drive data culture, define data access rights, best practice and data collection procedure. Sustain & govern data quality. Ensure reliable and friendly self-serve data environment for users. Act as HQ Group Data Lead to drive data culture and make presentations/ talks across data teams in APAC.
- Drive data analytics and transformation projects, derive data into insights, storytelling to business leaders.
- Drive decentralization of data team, ensure brands are equipped with latest data and skills needed for self-serve BI.
- Work closely with data science team on AI projects.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor in Business Administration, Statistics, Data Science or relevant disciplines.
- 6+ years' experience in Data Analytics.
- Hands on with SQL, Python.
- Hands on with dashboard development (Power BI/ Tableau/ Looker etc.).
- Experience in ETL process and DW; Concept with ML/ Data Science is a huge plus. Strong capability in working with technical team on data solutions delivery
- Experience in BigQuery, GCP is a plus.
- Outspoken with experience in making cross-region presentations for driving data culture and literacy
- Strong communicator across multi-cultural business users. Excellent data translator.
- Experience in data enablement with self-service BI hub is a huge plus.
- MNC background is highly preferred. B2C/ Brands industry background is a huge plus.
- Team leadership (3+ ppl) is required.
- Regional/ global project experience is a plus.
- Good command in Chinese and English.
- Calm, logical and proactive leader with can-do attitude and ever-learning mindset.
