Our client, a nutrition multinational company, is seeking a Commercial Finance Business Partner. This role acts as a key business partner to the Commercial function, combining strong financial analysis with commercial insight in a fast‑moving. Reporting to the Head of Controlling based in the Headquarters , the position works closely with the regional business leader and commercial leadership team with high visibility and influence on business decisions.
The role is responsible for monitoring and analyzing commercial performance across volumes, pricing, mix and margins with detailed insights by sales area, market segment, product family and key accounts. This includes tracking orders intake, sales delivery and sales funnel development, comparing results against last year and budget, explaining variances and proactively identifying risks and opportunities. The successful candidate will actively support pricing strategy, including the setup and continuous updating of selling prices, as well as contributing to the development of indexed pricing formulas for selected global accounts.
A core part of the role is to provide financial and analytical support to the Sales team. This includes preparing analyses on variable cost evolution, margin pass‑through and order trends, as well as supporting weekly sales meetings with landing outlooks and recovery scenarios. The role also contributes to and challenges the monthly volume forecast and unconstrained SIOP process in close collaboration with Sales and Demand Planning teams.
Working closely with Operations Controlling, the position helps analyze and challenge changes in variable costs, industrial fixed costs and depreciation. The role prepares and participates in monthly Business Reviews, consolidating financial and operational data, developing qualitative performance commentary and co‑presenting results with the Head of the Business Unit to senior stakeholders. Oversight of overheads and SG&A, contribution to the annual budget and mid‑term planning processes, and close collaboration with Treasury on cash performance, DSO and overdue receivables are also key responsibilities.
The successful candidate will hold a degree in Accounting or Finance and be professionally qualified (CA, CPA or ACCA), with at least 10 years of relevant experience in commercial finance, controlling or business analysis. They bring solid financial acumen, strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into clear business insights. We are looking for a collaborative and resilient professional who is objective, solution‑oriented and comfortable working under pressure and tight timelines. The successful candidate is a strong communicator, able to challenge constructively, manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a regional and cross‑functional setting.
