Role Mission
- Champion operational excellence by leading IE initiatives that enhance efficiency, integrate digital tools, and foster cross-factory collaboration to support our global growth and sustainability goals.
Position Summary
- You will drive production efficiency, standardizes processes, and spearheads digital transformation across factories in China and SE Asia.
- Reporting to the Head of Continuous Improvement, this role ensures uniform standards, optimized workflows, cost savings, and quality consistency through hands-on regional oversight and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive production efficiency by monitoring and optimizing manufacturing processes.
- Establish standardized SOPs, production norms, and capacity planning to ensure consistent performance across all factories.
- Deploy Lean Manufacturing, ECRS, and Industrial Engineering methodologies to eliminate waste and streamline operations.
- Lead implementation and optimization of digital systems including MES, ERP, PLM, and IoT for real-time monitoring and data-driven decision-making.
- Champion digital transformation in sampling and production processes to enhance traceability, collaboration, and operational transparency.
- Coach factory teams to transition from experience-based to data-driven production management practices.
- Conduct regular on-site visits to overseas factories to assess efficiency, workflow execution, and digital system adoption.
- Ensure consistent implementation of production standards and continuous improvement initiatives across all manufacturing sites.
- Collaborate with local management teams to develop customized IE improvement plans tailored to each factory's conditions.
- Build and lead the regional Industrial Engineering team through objective setting, performance management, and talent development.
- Foster cross-functional alignment with Production, Quality, R&D, Sampling, and Procurement departments to support strategic operational goals.
- Prepare and present comprehensive, data-driven performance reports and improvement recommendations to senior leadership.
Ideal Candidates
- Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years IE/operations management in manufacturing; an advantage for textile/garment/footwear/handbag or related experience.
- Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, IE tools (Green/Black Belt advantageous).
- Experience with MES, ERP, PLM, IoT systems.
- Knowledge of overseas factories preferably SE Asia
- Exceptional leadership, analytical, and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Fluent English and Chinese (Mandarin).
