Experteer Overview
As Regulatory Data Analyst, you will monitor and maintain MarketAxess' trading and post-trade regulatory data to meet MiFID II requirements. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, timeliness, and compliance across multiple platforms and services. Your analysis will identify gaps, reconcile data, and support regulatory reporting and client data products. You will help streamline data flows and strengthen the regulatory data delivery chain, contributing to a growing global client base. This is a hands-on role that combines analytics, stakeholder collaboration, and process improvement in a fast-paced finance-tech environment.
Pay / Benefits
- Perform in-depth analysis across multiple datasets to identify data quality and timeliness gaps in MiFID II data
- Reconcile data across internal and external platforms, escalating recommendations to improve quality
- Manage daily MiFID II reference data activities and respond to stakeholder inquiries
- Collaborate with Product Managers, vendors, and internal teams to strengthen data delivery processes
- Provide analytical support to Legal and Compliance for regulatory reporting obligations
- Quality-assure data from third-party suppliers and monitor service levels and contracts
- Triage and respond to client issues with clear communication
- Contribute to the Operations Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) documentation and testing
Tasks
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Computer Science, or related field
- 1+ years in data management or data governance
- Proficiency in data analytics with SQL
- Ability to integrate AI into daily workflows
- Experience handling large datasets and stakeholder engagement
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Understanding of Fixed Income markets and MiFID II is desirable
- Experience with data reconciliation tools and data visualization is a plus
