Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst - Leading Investment Bank

Our client is a leading global investment bank with a strong presence in Private Wealth Management across Asia. The organization operates at the intersection of financial services, data, and regulatory excellence, supporting a wide range of investment products and client solutions across Hong Kong and Singapore.

We are seeking a high-calibre Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst to join a dynamic regulatory reporting production team. This role is ideal for an analytical and detail-oriented professional who is passionate about data, controls, and regulatory compliance within a complex financial environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of regulatory submissions while working closely with multiple business and control stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regulatory Reporting Production: Prepare and deliver periodic regulatory reports for Hong Kong and Singapore regimes.
• Controls & Accuracy: Ensure accurate maker/checker production of regulatory submissions.
• Business & Data Understanding: Understand client, product, and data structures to support reporting accuracy.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with Compliance, Operations, Finance, and Risk on reporting requirements and controls.
• Change Management: Assess and implement changes due to regulatory, product, or data updates.
• Automation & Testing: Support automation initiatives and participate in UAT/testing of reporting solutions.
• Governance & Documentation: Maintain procedures, documentation, and audit readiness.
• Ad Hoc Reporting: Handle ad hoc regulatory and management reporting requests.

Education and Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in regulatory reporting or banking operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
• Advanced Excel skills for large dataset analysis
• Experience in banking, operations, or product/data support roles
• Exposure to Private Banking / Wealth Management and HK/SG regulatory frameworks is a plus
• Power BI / data visualization and exposure to automation or transformation initiatives is advantageous
• Strong learning agility with ability to understand complex data and processes
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and proactive mindset
