Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. IDR, Inc. is seeking an AI- Driven Quality Engineering Manager to join one of their top clients for a remote opportunity. This role is responsible for leading a team focused on enhancing software quality through AI-powered test automation and improving release quality practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of quality and automation engineers, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
- Drive the adoption and implementation of AI-powered testing tools to improve automation speed, coverage, and maintainability
- Collaborate with engineering, product, DevOps, and release teams to embed AI-enabled automation early in the development lifecycle
- Improve regression strategies and release confidence through innovative automation and AI-assisted defect analysis
- Measure and optimize quality metrics, leveraging data to identify gaps and implement process enhancements
Skills
- 6+ years of experience in software QA, quality engineering, or test automation, with hands-on experience building and scaling automation frameworks
- Strong experience with automation across API, UI, integration, and end-to-end testing environments
- Experience evaluating and implementing AI tools to support automated test creation, maintenance, and defect analysis
- Proven ability to lead and manage large engineering teams in complex systems, preferably with a background in healthcare or financial services
- Strong understanding of modern software development practices, CI/CD pipelines, and agile environments
