Position: Remote | Fixed Income Trading Professional — $150–$180/hour
We are sharing a specialised part‑time consulting opportunity for experienced fixed income trading professionals with deep market expertise, strong institutional judgment, and the ability to evaluate complex trading workflows across rates, credit, and structured products.
This role supports an exciting collaboration with a leading AI research lab focused on improving advanced financial intelligence systems through high‑quality expert evaluation, trading scenario design, dataset annotation, and workflow feedback grounded in real‑world fixed income markets.
Selected professionals will evaluate and improve AI‑generated outputs related to bond pricing, yield curves, spread analysis, and trade structuring, provide feedback on model reasoning and institutional realism, design realistic trading scenarios and edge cases, and help improve overall model quality. This opportunity is especially well‑suited to professionals with hands‑on fixed income trading experience who are comfortable translating market intuition, execution knowledge, and pricing judgment into structured evaluation workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Fixed Income Market Evaluation
- Evaluate and improve AI‑generated outputs related to bond pricing, yield curves, and spread analysis
- Review content involving interest rate products such as Treasuries, swaps, futures, and repos
- Support model improvement across credit markets including investment grade, high yield, and distressed debt
- Trading Scenario Design & Workflow Review
- Design realistic trading scenarios and edge cases based on real‑world market behaviour
- Review model reasoning around trade structuring and execution decisions
- Help ensure that outputs reflect institutional realism, market intuition, and execution quality
- Risk, Pricing & Strategy Analysis
- Evaluate AI reasoning related to risk management, including duration, convexity, DV01, and liquidity
- Review model performance on relative value and macro‑driven strategies
- Provide feedback on pricing, liquidity, execution logic, and trading workflows
- Training Data & Research Collaboration
- Annotate datasets and create high‑quality training examples for financial AI systems
- Collaborate with researchers to refine model performance on trading workflows
- Help improve overall model quality through experience‑based market feedback and structured evaluation
Ideal Profile
- 3‑10+ years of experience in fixed income trading, sales and trading, or portfolio management
- Background at investment banks, hedge funds, asset managers, or proprietary trading firms
- Day‑to‑day experience executing fixed income trades across government bonds, corporate credit, rates, or securitized products
- Hands‑on experience using Tradeweb or similar electronic trading platforms
- Strong familiarity with RFQ workflows, price discovery, and order management systems in fixed income markets
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in one or more areas such as rates trading, credit trading, structured products, or emerging markets debt
- Strong understanding of bond math including duration, convexity, carry, and roll‑down
- Experience with Bloomberg, Market Axess, or similar market platforms
- Experience with quant tools such as Python or Excel modeling
- Interest in AI and machine learning applications in finance
