Our client is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Remote Industrial Engineer to join their expanding operations. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere in the US, with primary focus on supporting our engineering initiatives based out of **Huntsville, Alabama, US**. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement, lean manufacturing, and data analysis. You will be instrumental in identifying inefficiencies, developing optimized workflows, and implementing solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs across various industrial processes. This role requires a strategic thinker who can apply engineering principles to solve complex operational challenges. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and supply chain, to gather data, analyze performance metrics, and propose actionable recommendations. The ability to visualize, model, and simulate processes will be key to success. Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing and implementing performance metrics, tracking progress, and ensuring the sustainability of implemented improvements. Responsibilities:

Analyze existing industrial processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement. Design and implement new processes and systems to enhance efficiency, quality, and output. Utilize data analytics and statistical methods to evaluate process performance. Develop and implement Lean and Six Sigma initiatives. Create process models and simulations to test proposed changes. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to integrate new solutions. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs). Train personnel on new processes and best practices. Prepare detailed reports on findings, recommendations, and project outcomes. Contribute to the development of long-term operational strategies. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering, process improvement, or operations management. Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and statistical process control (SPC). Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic) and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly. Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.
