Remote Manufacturing Process Engineer

Our client is actively searching for a highly skilled and motivated Remote Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their distributed engineering team. This fully remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to critical manufacturing operations and improvements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing processes, efficiency optimization, and quality control, with a proven ability to analyze and enhance production workflows. Responsibilities include developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. You will analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and propose data-driven solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical process control (SPC). You will also be involved in troubleshooting manufacturing issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and documenting process changes. The successful candidate must be a self-starter with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of effectively collaborating with teams virtually. A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing process engineering, is required. Experience with CAD software, simulation tools, and data analysis software is essential. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) are a plus.
