About the Role

Prudent Investors is seeking a detail-driven remote Paraplanner. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys turning financial strategy into precise execution and takes pride in keeping client and investment workflows accurate, organized, and moving forward.

The Wealth Management Associate / Paraplanner plays an important role in ensuring client recommendations are prepared, implemented, documented, and monitored with care and professionalism.

Responsibilities

· Client Experience & Front-Office Support: Participate in client meetings as needed, support new client onboarding, prepare performance reports and meeting materials, and assist with client communication.

· Trading, Transactions & Portfolio Implementation

Execute client trades per advisor/client direction and firm policy; process contributions, distributions, transfers, rollovers, reallocations, exchanges, and RMDs; monitor pending transactions and resolve discrepancies.

· Financial Planning Coordination & Plan Maintenance

Quarterback the planning process, including data gathering, plan updates, planning document preparation, and coordination with client meeting timelines.

· Investment Analysis & Portfolio Strategy Support

Monitor market/economic conditions, conduct investment and model analysis, evaluate portfolio changes or replacements, prepare investment recommendations, and support advisor decision-making.

· Documentation, Compliance & Client File Management

Prepare, review, process, and track account paperwork; confirm completeness and accuracy; maintain organized digital client files; follow firm conduct and compliance standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, or financial planning support
  • Experience with trading, client transactions, and account paperwork
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage complex workflows independently
  • Series 65 preferred, but not required; firm may assist with licensing

Preferred Experience

  • Prior Paraplanner or Planning Associate experience
  • Familiarity with financial planning software, custodial platforms, CRMs, and portfolio analytics tools

Benefits
