About Turing

Turing is a pioneering research accelerator headquartered in San Francisco, California, renowned for empowering frontier AI labs and serving as a reliable partner for global companies implementing advanced AI systems. We facilitate our clients' success in two primary ways: by enhancing pioneering research through high-quality data, advanced training methodologies, and a team of premier AI researchers who excel in various fields; and by leveraging that expertise to turn AI concepts into proprietary intelligence with solutions that are dependable, yield measurable outcomes, and significantly impact overall financial performance.

Role Overview

We are seeking talented professionals in Quantitative Finance to collaborate with our researchers in enhancing AI model effectiveness. Your skills in quantitative modeling, statistical analysis, algorithmic strategy development, and financial engineering will be crucial in evaluating and training AI systems. If you have a passion for addressing intricate quantitative challenges and shaping the future of AI in finance, we encourage you to apply. No previous AI experience is necessary.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day

  • Assess LLM models on topics in quantitative finance, including stochastic modeling, derivatives pricing, statistical arbitrage, and risk quantification.
  • Develop assessment rubrics to evaluate model performance on tasks such as options pricing, Monte Carlo simulations, factor model creation, and back-testing techniques.
  • Work closely with AI researchers and fellow finance specialists to refine training strategies, evaluation methods, and performance benchmarks.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Quantitative Finance (e.g., quant trading, quant research, financial engineering, or risk modeling).
  • A solid understanding of stochastic calculus, statistical modeling, and derivatives pricing theory.
  • Exceptional written communication skills in English.

Desirable Qualifications (not mandatory)

  • Professional designations such as CFA, FRM, CQF, a Ph.D. in a quantitative field, or an MBA in Finance.

Advantages of Working with Turing
