Job Title: SDET – Automation Engineer (Java + Selenium + AWS)

Location: 100% Remote (USA)

Job Summary:

We are looking for skilled Software Development Engineers in Test (SDET) with strong experience in automation testing, backend validation, and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable automation frameworks, validating APIs, and ensuring high-quality releases in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Selenium

Develop and execute automated test scripts for web and backend applications

Perform API testing using REST Assured/Postman and validate JSON responses

Write and execute SQL queries for backend data validation

Work with AWS cloud services for testing cloud-based applications

Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/Git)

Identify, debug, and track defects; perform root cause analysis

Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams for quality delivery

Ensure test coverage, scalability, and performance of applications

Required Skills:

Strong experience in Java programming

Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver

Experience in API testing (REST APIs, JSON, Postman, REST Assured)

Good knowledge of SQL for data validation

Experience working with AWS cloud platform

Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git)

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication skills
