Remote Senior Blockchain Developer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement secure and scalable smart contracts on various blockchain platforms (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, Polygon). Build and maintain decentralized applications (dApps), ensuring robust performance and user experience. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to define project requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code. Conduct thorough testing and debugging of smart contracts and dApp components. Research and evaluate new blockchain technologies, protocols, and tools to improve our development process and offerings. Contribute to the overall blockchain architecture and strategy. Stay up-to-date with the latest developments and trends in the blockchain and cryptocurrency space. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to blockchain implementations. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices. Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team. Potentially mentor junior developers.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong academic record. A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years specifically focused on blockchain development, is required. Proven experience developing smart contracts using languages like Solidity is essential. Familiarity with various blockchain platforms and protocols is highly desirable. Experience with distributed systems, cryptography, and consensus mechanisms is necessary. Proficiency in backend development languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Go) and understanding of frontend technologies (e.g., React, Vue.js) for dApp development are beneficial. Excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting are crucial.
