Remote Senior Real Estate Portfolio Manager

Our client is seeking an accomplished and strategic Senior Real Estate Portfolio Manager to oversee and optimize their diverse portfolio of properties. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to manage significant real estate assets from anywhere. The successful candidate will possess a proven track record in real estate investment, financial analysis, asset management, and a deep understanding of market trends.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans for the real estate portfolio to maximize returns and achieve investment objectives. Conduct market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities and potential risks. Oversee the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of properties within the portfolio. Manage property operations, including tenant relations, lease administration, and maintenance oversight, often through third-party property managers. Monitor portfolio performance against key metrics, including ROI, occupancy rates, and cash flow. Prepare detailed financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for the real estate portfolio. Analyze property-level financials, conduct valuations, and recommend strategic adjustments. Negotiate leases, service agreements, and other real estate contracts. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and reporting requirements. Manage relationships with brokers, lenders, appraisers, and other external partners. Identify and implement strategies for value enhancement and cost optimization across the portfolio. Lead and mentor junior members of the real estate team. Stay abreast of real estate market trends, economic conditions, and legislative changes affecting the portfolio. Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on portfolio performance and strategy. Utilize advanced real estate analytics software and tools to support decision-making.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in real estate investment, asset management, or portfolio management. Demonstrated success in managing a large and diverse real estate portfolio. Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills. In-depth knowledge of real estate markets, investment strategies, and property operations. Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Proficiency in real estate market analysis software and financial management tools. Ability to work independently and make strategic decisions in a remote environment. Proven leadership abilities and experience managing teams or cross-functional projects. Understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks relevant to real estate. Experience with various property types (e.g., commercial, residential, industrial) is beneficial. Strong network within the real estate industry. Excellent organizational and project management skills.
