This critical role involves conceptualizing, designing, and executing complex research projects aimed at discovering and developing novel therapeutic agents. You will be responsible for leading research initiatives from bench to preclinical stages, contributing significantly to the company's pipeline. Key responsibilities include designing and performing experiments, analyzing and interpreting data, and troubleshooting experimental issues. You will develop and validate new assays and methodologies relevant to drug discovery and development. Staying abreast of the latest scientific literature, technological advancements, and competitive landscape in relevant therapeutic areas is essential. You will collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including medicinal chemists, pharmacologists, and clinical development specialists, to advance projects. The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or a related life science discipline. Minimum of 5 years of post-doctoral or industry research experience in a relevant field is necessary.
