Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Research Analyst / Associate at Regent Venture Partners, based in Seattle, WA, with the option to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S.

The Research Analyst / Associate will lead industry-focused research and deal sourcing across Healthcare, TMT, and Consumer/Retail, with the goal of identifying high-quality investment opportunities for the firm. Core responsibilities include conducting market and competitive research, performing company and industry analyses, evaluating financial and operational data, and synthesizing findings into investment memos and presentations. The role works closely with the investment team to support due diligence and decision-making, and may involve attending major industry conferences such as CES.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or equity research
  • Venture capital or direct investing experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required; Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex financial and market data
  • Proficiency in market research and quantitative analysis
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly and concisely
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $80,000-$100,000, commensurate with experience
