Research and Development - Robotics

Skyline Nav AI, Inc. is a well-funded, commercially successful scale-up focused on revolutionizing visual navigation technology as an alternative to GPS, for our commercial and military customers. We are seeking highly motivated working professionals and recent graduates (PhD's/Master's/Bachelor's) who are passionate about computer vision, drones, robotics and AI to join our team.

As an R&D Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and productionizing computer vision algorithms and machine learning models to help our technology achieve high-accuracy autonomous visual navigation. This includes developing new algorithms, as well as optimizing existing methods for real-time use on edge-devices such as aerial and ground robots, and building the next generation of robotics platforms. This is an in-person role in the Greater Boston area.

Requirements:

• Candidate must be a US citizen, eligible for US Department of Defense Security Clearance

• B.S./M.S./Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics or related fields

• Strong programming skills in Python and C++

• Proficient working with computer vision and machine learning concepts

• Ability to work in fast-paced dynamic scale-up environment

• Ability to demo progress of next generation robotics platforms in-person on a daily basis in Massachusetts

Preferred:

• Experience with visual navigation or similar technologies

• Knowledge of drones and autonomous vehicle systems
