Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant/Research Associate (Microfluidics Engineering) (Ref. H01/2026/033).
Job Description
- Microfluidic device design and fabrication
- Device testing with various chemical and biological samples
- Data acquisition and analysis
- Microfluidic system development and prototyping
- Writing proposals, reports, technical specifications, patents, technical specifications, and other publications
- Delivering high-quality presentations to collaborators
- Working in an interdisciplinary R&D team with researchers, biologists, engineers, and clinicians to align R&D progress with project milestones
- Handling other relevant tasks as assigned by the supervisor(s)
Skills And Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related disciplines. Candidates with a Master’s degree will be considered for the position of Research Associate
- Minimum of 2 years of solid hands-on experience in microfluidics design and cleanroom fabrication
- Candidates with research/working experience in device and system prototyping are preferred
- Strong passion for conducting translational research in biomedical devices and instrumentation
- Mature, self-motivated, confident, and able to work under pressure
- Excellent organizational skills and time management, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Good interpersonal skills and a strong sense of responsibility in teamwork
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
A salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered.
