Please note your application will only be processed if you apply via NUS Career Portal.NUS Career Portal link: https://careers.nus.edu.sg/job/Research-Engineer-%28High-Precision-3D-Printing%29%2C-Division-of-Industrial-Design/32422-en_GB/We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.Job DescriptionNUS Centre for Additive Manufacturing (AM.NUS) is inviting applications for the position of research engineer for High Precision 3D Printing. ● Develop, operate, and maintain high-resolution 3D printing systems, including two-photon polymerization (2PP), extrusion-based printing, and digital light processing (DLP) platforms. ● Fabricate and characterize complex 3D structures and scaffolds, ensuring quality, precision, and reproducibility. ● Support internal capability development and execute collaborative projects with academic researchers and industry partners. ● Assist in preparing technical reports, documentation, and contribute to publications and grant proposals where applicable.● Ensure proper laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and procurement of materials and components.The NUS Centre for Additive Manufacturing (AM.NUS) leverages the National University of Singapore world-class faculties, expertise and advanced capabilities in 3D printing technology, to bring innovative products to the field of healthcare that will improve patient outcomes and change lives for the better. The Centre is supported both internally by NUS and externally by National Additive Manufacturing Cluster (NAMIC) and Singapore Economic Development Board.Qualifications● Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering/Materials Science/Biomedical Engineering or related field.● Expertise in 3D printing. ● Experience in 2PP is an advantage.● Familiarity with advanced imaging techniques and data analysis software is an advantage.● Proficiency in written and spoken English.
