Overview
The Grinding & Finishing Technology team at Saint-Gobain Research North America is seeking a highly motivated Research Engineer I to support abrasives technology and new product development. Reporting to a Senior Research Engineer, the candidate will work with global cross functional teams for sample characterization, test method development, data analysis and product evaluation through internal simulation, customer field tests and external collaborations. The Research Engineer I will develop skills in measuring and analyzing grinding processes, assist in creating and evaluating new measurement tools, design experiments, and support product and application engineers during new product launches.

Benefits

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ wellbeing and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. The national pay range for this position is $72,500 to $111,500 per year, with base pay varying by geographic region, internal equity, knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 9% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) is $79,025 to $121,535. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and are not guaranteed.
