Responsibilities:

Design and conduct experiments to investigate biological processes, therapeutic targets, or disease mechanisms. Develop and optimize novel assays and experimental protocols. Analyze experimental data using statistical and bioinformatics tools, interpreting results and drawing scientifically sound conclusions. Troubleshoot experimental issues and propose innovative solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including chemists, biologists, and clinicians, to achieve research objectives. Prepare and present research findings at internal meetings and external scientific conferences. Contribute to the writing of research papers, patents, and grant proposals. Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks and documentation of research activities. Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature and advancements in the field. Ensure adherence to laboratory safety protocols and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications:

PhD or Master's degree in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Immunology, or a closely related field. 3+ years of post-doctoral or industry research experience (for PhD) or 5+ years of relevant experience (for Master's). Proven expertise in one or more of the following areas: gene editing, cell culture, protein expression and purification, immunology, assay development, or animal models. Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., GraphPad Prism, R) and bioinformatics tools. Strong understanding of experimental design and statistical analysis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex scientific information. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced research environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail. Experience with CRISPR/Cas9 technology is a plus.
