*The Role:** As a Research Assistant with expertise in Machine Learning (ML), you will contribute to the development of advanced ML models for medical signals and imaging, focusing on multi-level classification and feature optimization. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary research team to design, implement, and evaluate machine and deep learning algorithms for medical applications.Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and evaluate machine learning algorithms for medical applications.
Analyze and process large datasets to identify patterns and trends.
Collaborate with the research team to design and implement innovative solutions.
Deploy ML models into an assistive technology platform with user-friendly interfaces.
Document research progress, methodologies, and findings in technical reports and academic publications.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering, specializing in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
Strong programming skills in MATLAB, Python, or R, with experience in ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
Proven knowledge of classification algorithms, neural networks, and model optimization techniques.
Familiarity with healthcare data, including clinical and behavioral data, is a plus. Similarly, experience in image and signal processing is also desirable.
