Our client is seeking a visionary Research Scientist/Engineer to push the boundaries of reasoning, planning, and decision-making in large foundation models. You will work at the cutting edge of AI, improving model capabilities across the full development lifecycle—from data acquisition and supervised fine-tuning to reward modeling and reinforcement learning.

What You’ll Do:

• Advance reasoning and planning in foundation models, applying System 2 thinking to solve complex tasks.
• Design and implement advanced decoding strategies such as MCTS and A* for real-world problem-solving.
• Synthesize large-scale, high-quality datasets through rewriting, augmentation, and generation to boost model performance.
• Build intelligent agents and multi-agent systems that leverage tools, APIs, and code interpreters to tackle sophisticated challenges.
• Develop rigorous evaluation methodologies to measure and optimize model capabilities at every stage.

What We’re Looking For:

• Research experience in RL, LLMs , and large-scale model training, with min 3 years of industry experiences
• Strong foundations in algorithms, data structures , and fluency in Python, C++, or Java .
• Proven track record in deep learning, NLP, or RL , with impactful publications or projects.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex, high-dimensional AI challenges.
• Collaborative mindset with a passion for innovation and advancing the state-of-the-art.
