This role is at the forefront of cancer research, focusing on understanding disease mechanisms, identifying novel therapeutic targets, and developing innovative treatment strategies. The successful candidate will design and conduct experiments, analyze data, interpret results, and contribute to publications in high-impact scientific journals. You will work within a collaborative environment, contributing to multi-disciplinary research projects. The ideal candidate possesses a Ph.D. in a relevant biological science, a strong publication record, and hands-on experience in molecular biology, cell biology, immunology, or related fields pertinent to cancer. Key Responsibilities:
Design, execute, and optimize complex experiments related to cancer biology and therapeutics. Analyze experimental data using appropriate statistical and bioinformatics tools. Interpret results and draw conclusions to advance research hypotheses. Contribute to the writing of research grants, publications, and scientific presentations. Collaborate effectively with other scientists, postdocs, and technicians on research projects. Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory notebooks and records. Operate and maintain specialized laboratory equipment. Stay current with the latest scientific literature and advancements in oncology research. Contribute to the development of new research methodologies and approaches. Mentor junior researchers and assist with training lab personnel. Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Oncology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or a related life science field. 3+ years of postdoctoral research experience or equivalent industry experience in cancer research. A strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals. Extensive hands-on experience with techniques such as cell culture, Western blotting, PCR, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and CRISPR gene editing. Proficiency in analyzing large datasets and using relevant software (e.g., R, GraphPad Prism). Knowledge of cancer biology, tumor microenvironment, and/or drug development pathways. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented research environment. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
