Avance Biosciences Inc. is a fast-growing biotechnology Contract Research Organization (CRO) providing GLP/GMP-compliant analytical services to biopharma and biotech clients worldwide. We are expanding our operations in Houston, TX, and seeking two exceptional PhD-level Scientists to join our team.
We are hiring in Two specialty areas
- Cell Biology – Design and execute cell-based assays for potency, mechanism-of-action, and characterization studies. Apply molecular and cellular techniques such as transfection, flow cytometry, qPCR, ddPCR, and immunoassays in GLP/GMP settings
- Next Generation Sequencing - Design and execute NGS assays, including WGS, WES, amplicon sequencing, and single-cell sequencing.
Core Responsibilities (All Positions)
- Lead projects as an independent researcher from design through reporting.
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving to technical challenges.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Mentor junior staff and foster collaboration.
- Maintain strict compliance with GLP/GMP and quality systems.
- Take full ownership of project outcomes and timelines.
QUALIFICATIONS (All Positions):
- PhD in a relevant discipline (Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related).
- Proven expertise in one of the specialty areas listed above.
- Strong technical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must have strong research experience in molecular biology or cell biology
- Must have strong hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques, such as NGS, qPCR, dPCR, etc.
- Must be currently located in the Houston, TX area or willing to relocate at own expense.
- Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
