Title: Contract Research Associate (In Vivo)
Location: San Diego, CA (Onsite)
Commitment: Part-time contract (5–10 hours/week)
Overview:
We are seeking a part-time Contract Research Associate to support in vivo studies. This role will focus on mouse handling, dosing, and sample collection, with additional involvement in study planning and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mouse husbandry and general colony maintenance
- Conduct in vivo procedures including intravenous (IV), intraperitoneal (IP), and subcutaneous (SC) injections
- Support and execute subcutaneous and disseminated (IV) tumor models
- Collect and process biological samples (e.g., blood, spleen, bone marrow)
- Assist in drafting and reviewing study protocols
- Maintain accurate and detailed experimental records
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on mouse husbandry and technical experience
- 2–4+ years of industry experience (biotech/pharma preferred)
- Proven experience with IV, IP, and SC dosing techniques
- Experience with tumor models (subcutaneous and/or disseminated)
- Experience with tissue and blood collection/processing

- Experience working with fibrosis disease models
