We are looking for a highly numerate investment professional to take personal accountability for deal underwriting and fund reporting across the UK Residential Platform . The individual will undertake a pivotal role in the platform team at a time where we have significant dry powder to deploy and are undergoing rapid expansion. This role will span transaction underwriting and execution, fund modelling and reporting together with the opportunity to engage with external and internal stakeholders. This is a great role for someone to make a real impact within an established and rapidly expanding living platform whilst simultaneously developing their own career in the living sector. Key responsibilities
Transactions:
Assist the transaction and portfolio teams in sourcing and tracking opportunities for all UK based living requirements.
Build and maintain financial models to appraise investment opportunities and project fund level returns
Appraise and structure deals creatively, factoring in knowledge of equity, debt, grant and fund structuring.
Responsible for the first review of opportunities with initial decision making responsibility to progress or decline opportunities in a swift and professional manner.
Derive and present a range of business plans to senior team members on investment opportunities.
Understand residential operating considerations such as gross to net leakage and service charge.
Consider opportunities from a residents perspective
Understand our competition at investor and operator level.
Assist in monitoring asset level risks, for example loan covenants and statutory risk.
Preparation of buy / hold sell analysis on existing assets.
Reporting and fund management:
Management and coordination of fund valuation, fund performance and property level reporting
Analysis of fund performance and ability to recommend and implement future strategic workstreams to fulfil financial and impact objectives
Coordination and analysis of asset level operational performance data including gross to net leakage and tenant satisfaction.
Engagement with clients where applicable with the opportunity to contribute to client pitching and ongoing in person reporting.
Prepare asset performance reports or recommendations for the Client, Head of Sector and the CBRE Investment Management Oversight Committee/ Investment Committee

Key Skills/Experience:
Highly numerate and analytical.
Financial Modelling experience is a must with expert knowledge of Excel and AI a key requirement. Knowledge of Anaplan Software preferred but not essential.
Preference for experience in Living Investment markets but not essential. Specifically, knowledge of single family, multi family PRS and affordable housing a bonus.
Knowledge of equity, debt and grant structures preferrable.
IMC qualified preferred, CFA beneficial but not essential
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Attention to detail and good organisational skills.
Creative and ability to appraise opportunities considering a variety of business plans
High conviction in their opinions but with the confidence to ask questions where required
Pro-active with a good work ethic and a team player.
