Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and triage security, risk, and compliance reports to ensure alignment with global IT and information risk policies
- Coordinate remediation efforts by working closely with asset owners, technical teams, and stakeholders to track and resolve vulnerabilities based on risk and criticality
- Own the reporting rhythm—manage security tools, generate reports, dashboards, and metrics that teams actually want to use
- Turn data into insights by identifying trends, patterns, and recurring issues, and clearly communicating what they mean
- Support vulnerability remediation through clear analysis, prioritization, and follow up
- Build and enhance dashboards to provide visibility into compliance, risk posture, and remediation progress
- Look for smarter ways to work by identifying opportunities for automation and process efficiency
- Understand and monitor IT controls, ensuring they are operating as intended within the IT environment
- Be a connector—work with global information risk teams to ensure consistent processes and alignment with global standards, policies, and frameworks
- Champion a strong risk and security culture, helping teams understand the “why” behind controls and best practices
SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- 3–5 years of progressive experience in a large, global organization; financial services or insurance experience required
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and explain data clearly
- Excellent coordination, organization, and follow up skills—you enjoy keeping multiple workstreams moving forward
- Comfort working with stakeholders across technical and business teams
- Strong skills in PowerBI, Power Automate, Agentic AI, Excel, Teams, Outlook and Sharepoint
- Experience creating or maintaining processes, procedures, and documentation
- Self starter mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Clear, confident communicator and active listener
- Eagerness to learn—able to quickly adapt to new tools, technologies, and methodologies
- Working knowledge of IT concepts such as software, servers, change management, and testing (you don’t need to be an engineer—just know how things fit together)
Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON (Toronto District)
