Risk and Control - Private Banking (12-month contract)

A global bank is looking to hire a Risk and Control candidate for their private banking.

Successful candidates will have solid risk and control experience from private banking and be comfortable in the first line of defence. Candidates will be required to ensure best in class risk controls and drive best practices.

First line experience is required along with product risk and due diligence. A proven track record of conducting risk reviews and act in an advisory capacity with regard to issue resolution or align changes.

Candidate profile:

• Minimum of 5 years' risk experience within private banking
• Strong understand of private banking and wealth management risk and control
• First line of defence exposure
• Able to conduct risk reviews, understand risk control internally and advise business units accordingly
• Good knowledge of end-to-end risk processes
• Experience of margin risk/credit risk preferred
• Fluent in English and Cantonese
