About Your Team

Our Risk & Internal Audit function operates within a lean, high-impact structure, currently consisting of two team members, including this role.

Reporting directly to the Head of Risk & Internal Audit, you will work closely with finance, operations, and senior stakeholders across the business. The team operates in a hands-on, delivery-focused environment, where individuals are expected to take ownership of their work and contribute both from an execution and advisory perspective.

This is a role suited to someone who is self-sufficient, proactive, and comfortable working with minimal supervision, while engaging confidently with senior stakeholders across the organisation.

Your Role

As a Risk & Internal Audit Senior Analyst, you will:

  • Support the delivery of enterprise risk management and internal audit activities across the Group
  • Plan and execute risk-based internal audit engagements end-to-end
  • Perform detailed risk assessments and maintain up-to-date risk registers
  • Identify control gaps, inefficiencies, and emerging risks
  • Evaluate compliance with internal policies, procedures, contracts, and regulatory requirements
  • Analyse business processes and recommend practical, risk-based improvements
  • Prepare clear audit working papers and structured reports with actionable insights
  • Engage with stakeholders to validate findings and support implementation of recommendations
  • Track audit actions and follow up on management responses
  • Support fraud reviews, investigations, and special assignments
  • Contribute to audit innovation, including tools, templates, and data analytics initiatives
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members where required

  • Strong knowledge of internal audit, risk management, and control frameworks
  • Ability to work independently and manage end-to-end audit and risk activities
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence
  • A proactive, direct, and confident communication style
  • High levels of integrity, objectivity, and attention to detail

What Will Set You Apart

  • Experience in project-based industries such as construction, engineering, or contracting
  • Ability to operate effectively in lean teams without heavy structure or supervision
  • A practical, commercially aware approach to risk and audit

Experience We Value

  • Strong background in construction, contracting, or engineering sectors (essential)
  • Experience within large-scale project environments (infrastructure, real estate, EPC)
  • Exposure to complex delivery environments with multiple stakeholders and subcontractors
  • UAE experience is preferred but not mandatory

Qualifications & Background

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, or CIA (strongly preferred)
  • Big 4 experience in audit, risk advisory, or assurance is highly desirable
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in internal audit, enterprise risk management, or similar roles
  • Experience supporting construction or engineering clients (either in-house or advisory)
