Role Description

The Risk Management and Patient Safety Leader will play a pivotal role in overseeing risk management initiatives and ensuring patient safety across the hospital. Responsibilities include identifying and mitigating potential risks, conducting thorough root cause analyses, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and implementing patient safety strategies. Collaboration with clinical teams, quality assurance, and other departments will be a key aspect of the role. This is a full-time on-site position located in Los Angeles, CA.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Risk Management processes such as risk assessment, mitigation planning, and continuous monitoring
  • Strong expertise in Patient Safety protocols, including incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action development
  • Knowledge of healthcare compliance, regulatory standards, and accreditation requirements
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in staff training, team collaboration, and stakeholder engagement
  • Proficiency in analyzing data and implementing evidence-based interventions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certifications in Risk Management or Patient Safety is preferred
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred
