The Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM) department is responsible for TDBG's regulatory compliance and the broader prudential risk management components of the Bank's Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorist Financing (AML/ATF), Sanctions, and Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption (ABAC) risk management programs (collectively referred to as the TDBG FCRM Program).

JOB DESCRIPTION

FCRM acts as an Oversight Function for applicable Laws, Rules and Regulations (LRRs), in support of Enterprise Compliance's Regulatory Compliance Management requirements. Candidate would be responsible for reviewing daily regulatory notifications, supporting LRR inventory to be reflective of all requirements across TD's footprint, and ensuring compliance with RCM requirements. The candidate should have the ability to read regulatory requirements, good communication and writing skills to relay the regulatory requirements, and a strong sense of initiative in a highly adaptive environment.

  • Currentlyenrolled inan undergraduate degree in International Relations, Political Studies/Science, Policy, Global Affairs , Finance, etc.
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school atthe start of your work term(requirement of all co-op/intern positions)
  • Ability to read regulatory requirements from multiple jurisdictions
  • Ability to summarize succinctly and provide recommendations for potential next steps
  • Time management skills for fast-paced environment and the ability to understand prioritization accordingly
  • PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Curiosity and awareness of global affairs
  • Familiar with general sanctions requirements, purpose of sanctions, and the role of Financial Institutions in complying with sanctions requirements
