Senior Analyst – Model and AI Risk Governance

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Hours: Monday‑Friday, standard business hours

Job Description

The Senior Analyst will join the Model and AI Risk Governance team of MRM and will play an instrumental role across a range of activities, including but not limited to: model inventory system strategic initiatives, reporting to senior executives, and support in model lifecycle transformation programs with high‑visibility. The role involves interaction with a large range of stakeholders within business and risk management. Problem solving skills, ability to work efficiently and effective communication are key success factors in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Creating, documenting and testing business requirements on enhancements to the model inventory
  • Working with business partners to ensure that the information in the model inventory is complete and accurate
  • Quality Assurance / Quality Control testing to ensure that model owners are compliant with model risk procedures
  • Involvement in assessment and implementation of upcoming regulatory requirements
  • Compiling and assessing model risk key risk indicators (KRIs)

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Data, Business/Commerce or related field
  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term (requirement of all co‑op/intern positions)

  • This position is a 4‑month work term and will commence September – December 2026.
