The TDAF Risk Strategy Team

is responsible for

the development and execution of risk strategies and initiatives that will

assist

our TDAF business partners to achieve growth and profitability targets while

maintaining

the overall risk quality of our lending portfolios. Accountabilities include providing monitoring and oversight of a highly dynamic and exciting portfolio, supporting risk strategy enhancement.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The intern will work in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment and will be part of a learning culture where ongoing development is encouraged.

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Participate

in development, design,

testing

and verification of TDAF Auto Adjudication Acquisition Strategies.

  • Review ARD performance in terms of both the rate of auto-adjudication and the on-book performance of loans which are funded through the various implemented strategies.
  • Provide insights and analysis that will

identify

origination and delinquency trends and inform revenue enhancement and

loss

mitigation decisions.

  • Currently

enrolled in an undergraduate or master's program (master's preferred) in financial risk management, finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, analytics, or related fields

  • Completion of at least one internship or co-op and second-year studies in financial risk management, finance, economics, statistics, mathematics, analytics, or a related field is

required

  • Must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with the intent of going back to school a

t

the start of your work term

(requirement of all co-op/intern positions)

  • Strong ownership mentality and can-do attitude.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Proficiency

in SAS,

SQL

and Python would be considered strong assets.

  • Familiarity with Tableau and prior knowledge of machine learning and credit risk would be considered strong assets.
