Key Responsibilities :

• Manage the Risk Management team’s performance and assignments
• Analyze and recommend optimal insurance coverage solutions
• Oversee general liability and insured claims administration
• Develop training for City departments on risk awareness
• Prepare reports and recommendations for departments and Council

Requirements :

• Post-secondary degree in related field plus CIP and CRM designations
• Five years' experience in risk management and claims
• Knowledge of relevant legislation affecting municipalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with computerized claims management software
