Risk Specialist

Duration: 6+ months

Compensation: $28-35/hr

Location: On-site in Seattle, WA

Requirements/Responsibilities: Evaluate and monitor high-risk transactions and accounts for potential fraud or abuse. Identify, analyze, and interpret suspicious patterns and behaviors across financial and transactional data. Review escalated cases from frontline teams and determine appropriate next steps. Assess fraud exposure levels and proactively mitigate emerging threats. Perform validation and calibration of risk scoring models and tools. Respond to and manage escalations from internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and thorough resolution. Apply established risk policies and procedures consistently across cases. Provide recommendations for updates or enhancements to risk and fraud policies based on investigative findings and trends. Lead and manage complex or high-impact fraud investigations, collaborating cross-functionally as needed. Prepare comprehensive and actionable risk analysis reports for internal review and leadership decision-making.
