Risk / Trade Operations Analyst | New York
We're looking for a mid-level Risk/Trade Ops Analyst to join a small, high-ownership team at a trading firm that runs on automation.
What you'll do:
- Build and maintain Python systems that keep positions accurate and within risk limits
- Report risk issues to the Risk Manager and work with trading desks to resolve them
- Design automated workflows to eliminate manual processes (we're serious about this)
- Communicate with clearers and brokers on trade-related issues
- Take on a broad range of operational and risk tasks as the firm grows
What you need:
- 2+ years in risk or trade operations
- Strong Python and MySQL skills—you'll be deploying code regularly
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight (code reviews happen, but you own your work)
- Comfort in a small team (~3 people) where you'll have real ownership and impact
This isn't a big bureaucratic ops role. It's hands-on, technical, and you'll have significant influence over how systems work.
