One of our automotive clients is looking for a Robotic Weld Technician for their operations in Markham, ON region.
Shift - Afternoon
Responsibilties
- Diagnose, repair, and adjust robots (Fanuc & Motoman) and weld controllers using PLCs and HMIs.
- Assist with equipment, component, and tooling changeovers.
- Provide support to the production team for seamless operations, including setup, tool changes, and troubleshooting.
- Modify welding schedules for MIG, Projection, and Spot welding on Medar, Lincoln, and Fronius weld controllers.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained to produce high-quality parts.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with IATF16949 standards.
Basic Requirements
- A post-secondary diploma in Robotic Welding, Electro-Mechanical, or Automation from a technical college.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience.
- Certified professionals (e.g., Electrician, Millwright, Machinist) are an asset.
- Experience in Robotic MIG, Projection, and Spot welding.
- Proficient in PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Motoman & Fanuc robots and Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Capable of working independently and managing tasks effectively.
