Job Description

🚀 Applied Robotics Engineer | Real-World Autonomy

We’re working with a well-backed early-stage team building at the intersection of AI + Robotics, focused on deploying autonomous systems in complex, real-world environments.

This is not simulation-heavy work.

This is about getting robots to actually function in the real world — navigating unpredictable terrain, weather, and messy constraints.

💡 What you’ll be doing

  • Build and deploy end-to-end robotic systems
  • Bridge perception, planning, and control
  • Take systems from prototype → real-world deployment
  • Work closely across hardware, software, and field ops

🔥 Why this role stands out

  • Real-world impact — systems that actually get used
  • High ownership in a fast-moving startup
  • Work across the full robotics stack, not just one piece
  • Solve messy, ambiguous problems (the fun kind)

🧠 What they’re looking for

  • Background in robotics / autonomy / related fields
  • Experience with perception, control, or planning
  • Strong coding skills (Python, C++, or similar)
  • Someone who enjoys working beyond simulation — in the real world

If you want to work on robotics that doesn’t behave perfectly (because real life doesn’t) — this is where things get interesting.
