Job Description

Disclaimer:

Vision Build is presently in its early-stage development phase and is not currently generating revenue. As such, any involvement with the project should be viewed as a long-term opportunity rather than a source of immediate compensation or return. Although there is potential for a significant future payout, such an outcome is not guaranteed and would depend entirely on the successful growth, implementation, and commercialization of the Vision Build platform. All projections, expectations, and opportunities for future return remain subject to business performance and market realities.

  • Support installation, commissioning, validation, and ongoing maintenance of robotic systems in live operating environments.
  • Research emerging technologies in robotics, automation, machine vision, AI, and machine learning, and recommend practical applications to improve capability and efficiency.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including designs, workflows, testing procedures, modifications, and maintenance protocols.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts to optimize robotic processes, reduce downtime, and increase system reliability and output.
  • Ensure all robotic systems are developed and operated with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and long-term maintainability.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in robotics engineering, automation systems, mechatronics, or a related field.
  • Strong programming ability in C++, Python, and/or ROS (Robot Operating System).
  • Solid understanding of mechanical design, control systems, and electrical integration in robotic applications.
  • Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, PLCs, embedded systems, and industrial automation hardware.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and solve complex hardware and software issues.
  • Experience developing and testing systems in real-world conditions, with a practical mindset for deployment and reliability.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong documentation habits and attention to detail in technical reporting and process development.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience with AI integration, machine learning, computer vision, or autonomous system behavior in robotics.
  • Familiarity with CAD software for robotic component and system design.
  • Experience working in construction automation, manufacturing, industrial robotics, or field-deployed robotic systems.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, risk mitigation, and best practices for robotic operations in active work environments.
