Why move a two-pound burrito with a two-ton car?/ph2/h2p style="min-height:1.5em"As a strongRobotics Field Operations Technician/strong, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our robot fleet through technical maintenance and operational support./pp style="min-height:1.5em"/pp style="min-height:1.5em"This role is onsite in Brooklyn, NY/pp style="min-height:1.5em"/ph2strongResponsibilities/strong/h2ul style="min-height:1.5em"lip style="min-height:1.5em"Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair robots using hardware and software tools./p/lilip style="min-height:1.5em"Monitor and support robots in the field, resolving operational issues./p/lilip style="min-height:1.5em"Assist with the deployment and retrieval of robots in and out of market areas./p/lilip style="min-height:1.5em"Conduct component-level and assembly-level testing to identify performance issues./p/lilip style="min-height:1.5em"Provide feedback to engineering and development teams to refine hardware, software, and operational processes./p/lilip style="min-height:1.5em"Track, manage, and maintain lab and component inventories./p/lilip style="min-height:1.5em"Log repair activities in Jira, including photos and videos, to inform hardware and software teams./p/lilip style="min-height:1.5em"Assist merchants, retail staff, and customers during delivery operations./p/lilip style="min-height:1.5em"Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of robots to uphold Serve Robotics’ brand image./p/li/ulp style="min-height:1.5em"/ph2strongQualifications/strong/h2ul style="min-height:1.5em"lip style="min-height:1.5em"1–3 years of experience in electro-mechanical, robotics, automotive, electronics, or a similar technical field./p/lilip style="min-height:1.5em"Proficiency with diagnostic tools, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other bench equipment./p/lilip style="min-height:1.5em"Experience with software and hardware troubleshooting./p/lilip style="min-height:1.5em"Familiarity with Jira or similar documentation tools./p/lilip style="min-height:1.5em"Ability to lift 70 lbs and spend extended periods on your feet./p/lilip style="min-height:1.5em"Comfortable driving U-Haul-sized vehicles./p/lilip style="min-height:1.5em"Valid U.S. driver’s license./p/lilip style="min-height:1.5em"Ability to work weekends and flexible shifts, including mornings and evenings./p/li/ulp style="min-height:1.5em"/ph2strongWhat Makes You Standout/strong/h2ul style="min-height:1.5em"lip style="min-height:1.5em"Hands-on experience in robotics or automation systems./p/lilip style="min-height:1.5em"Familiarity with rapid prototyping, testing, or instrumentation./p/lilip style="min-height:1.5em"Comfortable riding a bicycle in a city environment./p/li/ul
