The Resident Mechatronics Engineer provides hands‑on, on‑site technical support for advanced robotics solutions in a fast‑paced operational environment. This role ensures equipment reliability, resolves technical issues, and acts as a key liaison between customers and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on‑site technical support, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Configure and integrate hardware such as robots, servers, conveyors, and scanners.
- Conduct hardware and systems testing, perform integration tests, and resolve technical issues.
- Assist clients during and after deployment and respond promptly to service requests.
- Implement automation systems including AGV, ACR, AMR, and conveyor equipment.
- Support software testing and WMS integration efforts.
- Collaborate with internal engineering, service, and operations teams to ensure service quality and operational efficiency.
- Manage spare parts ordering and inventory, ensuring availability and maintaining quality control.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience with AGV, ACR, or AMR implementations.
- Bachelors in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Familiarity with WMS integration and PLCs.
- Understanding of common networking concepts such as VPNs, firewalls, and routers.
Preferred Skills
- Scripting experience.
- Knowledge of SQL and systems integration.
