The SME & Growth Business team at Airwallex is a passionate group of collaborators and business champions dedicated to empowering small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to thrive in the global economy. We combine deep financial expertise with a growth mindset, working closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and develop tailored solutions that streamline cross-border payments and unlock new revenue streams. WHAT YOU’LL DO

This role is based in New York City or San Francisco.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Researching and identifying potential clients within the ecommerce and SaaS industries
  • Reaching out to prospects through various channels (email, phone, social media) and understanding their needs
  • Presenting our innovative solutions and crafting compelling value propositions
  • Qualifying opportunities and scheduling appointments for our Account Executives

WHO YOU ARE

We're looking for people who meet the minimum qualifications for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • A genuine passion for ecommerce, SaaS and the tech industry

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 6+ months experience in sales
  • Experience or desire to be working in a fast paced environment, particularly in 0-1 mode (e.g., helped to launch and grow a new product or region)
  • Strategic thinker and able to drive 'partnership' conversations vs. 'sales' conversations
  • Solution oriented
  • A FIO (Figure It Out) attitude and are willing to do whatever is necessary to achieve results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • You have strong analytical skills and an organized way of thinking/working
  • Proficient in GSuite and sales tech tools like Salesforce, Outreach, Zoominfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and more
