The Role
As a Solutions Engineer at Lucanet, you will serve as a technical expert for our product suite that helps getting the jobs done in the office of the CFO, collaborating with sales teams across Europe to deliver tailored solutions. You'll lead technical discoveries and product demonstrations, respond to RFPs/RFIs, and provide expert advice to technical and non-technical stakeholders, aligning our tools to customer pain points.
With a focus on continuous improvement, you'll develop sales support materials, contribute to cross-functional initiatives, and stay informed on industry trends. Your background in finance and/or pre-sales coupled with strong English communication skills, will enable you to thrive in this dynamic position.
What you'll do
- Customer Discovery and Consultation: Conduct in-depth discovery sessions to understand customer pain points and business objectives, providing tailored solutions that meet their needs.
- Technical Demonstrations: Deliver compelling technical demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of Lucanet's solutions.
- Sales Acumen: Ability to support sales teams and drive technical wins including storytelling, active listening, value selling, copywriting, and Pipeline Management.
- Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior Solution Consultants, sharing best practices and technical knowledge.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and Lucanet product developments to enhance the quality of solutions provided.
- Feedback Loop: Provide feedback to product development teams and other stakeholders based on customer interactions to influence future product enhancements.
What you bring to the table
- A background in finance, accounting, or tax with financial expertise like financial reporting, planning, taxation, group accounting or similar.
- Experience in sales engineering or technical pre-sales, ideally within SaaS or FinTech and strong Value Selling experience.
- Proficiency in using CRMs and sales tools, with familiarity with Lucanet's product suite being a plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact with our international workforce. .
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver innovative solutions tailored to customer challenges.
- A collaborative mindset, ready to work across teams and contribute to Lucanet's strategic growth.
