Overview
We are seeking a Salesforce Report Writer / BI Analyst to support a large-scale reporting transformation initiative. The current environment includes approximately 300 existing reports that need to be evaluated, rebuilt, retired, or converted into modern dashboards. This role will play a key part in determining how reporting should be structured.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and assess ~300 existing reports to determine:
- Which reports should be rebuilt, retired, or converted into dashboards
- Extract and transform data from Salesforce for reporting purposes
- Design and develop reports and dashboards using:
- Salesforce Lightning Reports (required)
- Power BI and/or Salesforce CRM Analytics (CRMA)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and business requirements
- Provide input into reporting architecture decisions, including:
- Tool selection (Power BI vs. CRMA vs. native Salesforce reporting)
- Best practices for scalability and usability
- Translate business requirements into technical reporting solutions
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across reports
- Support rapid delivery of reporting solutions while contributing to longer-term strategy
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with Salesforce reporting, especially Lightning Reports
- Experience building reports/dashboards in Power BI and/or Salesforce CRM Analytics (CRMA)
- Ability to extract and manipulate data from Salesforce
- Experience working with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with evolving direction
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Apsona (nice to have, not required)
- Experience in reporting strategy or architecture decisions
- Background in migrating or modernizing reporting environments
